Description
This in-person course will teach the fundamentals of translation and its techniques as well as the interpreting foundations every interpreter needs. Topics covered include:
- Five translation techniques to succeed
- Contrastive analysis = structure differences
- English/Spanish vocabulary review in educational and medical/psychological settings
- Cultural awareness: differences between the two languages
- Research activity: assignment “on what grounds.”
